Wednesday was a most unusual day with minimal patients that we haven't seen a day like this since we've been in Guatemala. It wasn't a good sign when you have a visiting dentist and very little work. We left early and took the McDonald's on a sightseeing tour. Central Market was a must to see and the kids loved wandering through each vendors goods. We spotted these two ladies looking at jewelry so I couldn't resist the photo. Never seen this color of outfit before until today. I am assume they are nuns but not sure. Other sights were the Catherdal and Palace.
The McDonald's at work. The kids had a great time assisting and visiting with the FM's. Jacob loved visiting with the Tio Juan girls because they made such a fuss over him. He loved the attention.
Dr. Robert McDonald, his daughter Aubrey and nephew Jacob arrived on March 27 2012. They are from Denver, Colorado. There help was greatly appreciated especially on Thursday because we had the FM from Coetepeque for the full day. Lots of work needed to be done. On Wednesday, it was the most unusal day, a full day was scheduled but only a couple of FM's showed up - not even a orphan showed up.
